Bold ideas and even bolder action

Boulder has an ambitious vision—to transform how addiction is perceived, medicine is practiced, and care is delivered. Rooted in data, and spearheaded by innovative medical leaders, this new approach to addiction recovery required a bold brandmark as a foundational touchstone.

Combining soft, light colors, Boulder’s compassionate side is reflected in hand-drawn illustrations and friendly iconography. The overall palette, open layouts, and typeface choices reaffirm the balance between scientific footing and human centered solutions.

When communications are patient-facing, messaging reflects an added layer of warmth and compassion to highlight the heart of the organization. When provider-facing, the tone shifts toward reaffirming Boulder’s position as a leader in the addiction recovery space.

With a fully customizable program to treat the patient-specific disease that is addiction, Boulder is targeting the physical, emotional, and social roots of addiction every step of the recovery journey. As Boulder pilots service delivery, our work with them continues as we develop and evolve their medical care kits and digital services.
