Pi Charging approached Enlisted with a working prototype and revolutionary technology. In partnership, Pi Charging and Enlisted worked to create the right architecture to charge devices wirelessly at any angle.

APPROACH

Form and function

An extensive exploration of layout, shape, size, and orientation determined the leading architecture. After conducting simulations we determined a circular form performed best and communicated charging from all angles.

Flexibility was a crucial aspect to ensure consumers could use in different locations and environments, taking up the smallest footprint possible.

Touchless power

A subtle light ring at the top indicates when devices are charging. The transmitter is offered in black and white, each paired with a medallion, to allow for customization across various colors, materials, and finishes in the future.

The Pi case, compatible with phones and tablets, allows devices to connect to the transmitters and charge. Subtle grooves give the case a unique pattern and texture.
